Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Vibrant Colors – Bruno Weber’s sculptures

Bruno Weber (10 April 1931 – 24 October 2011) was a Swiss artist and architect, specializing in fantastic realism. He was born in Dietikon, in the fifth biggest city of the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. You can find a lot of his sculptures on the streets in his hometown. There are even some lucky people, who have a fountain in their gardens made by Bruno Weber. To be honest, the citizens of Dietikon didn’t really like his work, but after his dead, (as many times happens with artists) people began to be proud of his work. He has many fabulous creations, some of them are very colourful, some of them aren’t. For the challenge “Vibrant Colours” of course I chose some colourful one.

And last but not least here comes my favourite one, a fireplace:

What do you think, what is this creature? Which animal inspired the artist while making this fireplace?
